Poseidon Series,
Nautical Fiberglass Flagpoles

Salt air eats aluminum alive. Give it two or three years at a marina, a yacht club, or a lakefront property with any salt exposure, and that aluminum pole is pitted, stained, and corroding from the inside out. The finish is shot. The structural integrity is compromised. And you’re shopping for a replacement.

The Poseidon Series from Zeus™ is built specifically for these environments. Fiberglass construction with UV- and salt-resistant polyurea coating that shrugs off salt spray, coastal humidity, and waterfront soil conditions. Available with yardarm or yardarm-and-gaff configurations from 25′ to 60′. Rated 150 mph unflagged.

What Salt Air Does to Aluminum Flagpoles

Aluminum at a waterfront installation means:

  • Pitting and surface corrosion within 2–3 years of exposure to salt spray
  • Staining from coastal soil and marine-grade landscape materials
  • Anodized color that fades and varies across the length of the pole
  • Structural weakening that accelerates with every season of exposure
What's the wind rating on the Poseidon?
Rated 150 mph unflagged. Designed for exposed waterfront and coastal installations where sustained wind and salt exposure are constant factors.
What configurations are available?
The Poseidon is available with a yardarm or a yardarm-and-gaff combination. Heights range from 25′ to 60′. We’ll help you choose the right configuration based on your site, what you’re flying, and the visual look you want.
How does fiberglass handle salt exposure compared to aluminum?
Fiberglass is non-metallic — salt can’t corrode it the way it corrodes aluminum. The dual-part polyurea coating adds a UV- and salt-resistant layer on top of an already corrosion-proof material. Aluminum, even when anodized, breaks down under sustained salt exposure. Fiberglass doesn’t.
Is the Poseidon only for saltwater marinas?
It’s designed for salt-air environments, but it’s also a strong choice for any waterfront property – lakefront homes, river-adjacent commercial sites, or any location where moisture and humidity are constant. If your site has above-average corrosion risk, the Poseidon handles it.
What maintenance is needed at a waterfront site?
Same as any Zeus™ pole — check the halyard, keep snaps from contacting the pole, clean annually with a mild water-and-bleach solution. The difference is that a Poseidon won’t need the constant touch-ups, rust treatment, or early replacement that aluminum demands in the same environment.

"CT Flagpoles providing a beautiful Zeus Flagpole and wonderful installation… I never met a man more passionate about his craft than Henry! He drilled and jackhammered ledge to put the pole exactly where we wanted it. He is amazing!"

"The two black 25' Flagpoles recently installed in West Chester look so 1000% better than the sectional poles they were using. They are planning on having a flag dedication soon."

"I wanted to share a great experience we had with Matt and his team. We had 10 large trees close to home . We were concerned they could damage our home with the winds we get here. Matt and his team had climbers clim the trees to cut the large high limbs to ensure there was no damage to our home. Everything was planned and managed to perfection. I highly recomend Matt and his team to any one looking for Land Clearing, Excavation, Driveways, trenching, brush Mowing and Drainage"

"Wolcott Outdoor Services did a great job on our project. Communication was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure to have the right equipment for the job, and followed through with a great result despite some challenges with the project. We'll be using them again and highly recommend them."
